The US Open

August 25, 2008

The US Open starts today, so I thought I’d post one of my photos from a US Open past:

Two years ago, I attended the US Open with the best seats imaginable — I was court side in the photographer’s pit. At some point I left the pit so I could enjoy some Tennis from the stands. That’s when I got the idea to create this photomontage. It depicts Andre Agassi (in white) vs. Andrei Pavel, and it really shows how much they move (or don’t move) around the court.

Just came here from IronicSans. This photograph is bloody fantastic.

instead of move or don't move....

how bout how much andre MOVED pavel?

that was Andre's game.

Naturally, Pavel's gonna move more as you can see in this game, Agassi is serving and Pavel is returning. It'd be neat to do this over two games and compare those images.

Lol nice photo :) did the person who posted this image took the image?..

Great photo. But still no tutorial on photojojo :)

This is great! Wouldnt one of the networks be interested in this type of thing? I know here in Australia the Aus Open goes free to air and they're right into this sort of stuff.

Great idea! Would love to see pics taken from the photo pit! Peace!
